CAMI'S REVIEWS

TITLE: Flawed Love
AUTHOR: Bella Jewel
RATING: 4 Stars

This is the second book in the Obsidian series. We met Rainer in book one, Flawless Heart. It's been 10 years since Emalie has seen or heard from Rainer after he abruptly left town. But she's just found out he's been back for a while and even owns a bar.

After gathering up enough courage and encouragement from her best friend they decide to go see him. But when they finally reunite the last thing she expects is for Ranier not to recognize her...at all. Even with her heart crushed because she is still in love with the boy who left her all. Thos years ago; she can't give up on finding out what would make her best friend lose his memories of their time together. With hazy memories of his past, Mali wants him to remember her on his own so she keeps their acquaintance a secret. What unfolds is a harsh reality of time lost. Rainer is now in love with someone else that he can never have and Mali is left to accept whatever he is willing to give.

This story is told in past and present time frames alternating each chapter. This wasn't an issue for me but there were a couple of inconsistencies in the timeline. The explanation as to why he disappeared and why he couldn't remember Mali was a bit frustrating and far fetched. However, I'm always up for a second chance romance with a bit of best friends on the side. Ms. Jewel always does a great job with dialogue in her stories and this one is just as great. Would definitely recommend!

I give Flawed Love 4 Crazie Stars!! ~Cami

★★★★★

"Every whisper, every breath, every kiss, and every word came from my gut. This is the book I'm most proud of." ~Penelope Douglas on Falling Away

As you very well should be Ms. Douglas! Simply said......Falling Away is ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!!

Your readers wanted darker, you gave it. Your readers wanted more steam, you definitely gave that! Your readers also wanted Jax to find the one girl that could help erase his awful past....mission accomplished!

This is not a story of darkness meets light. Both Jax and KC have pasts filled with secrets and deeper undertones than anyone realizes. The saying 'be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about' is so fitting for this story.

There is so much more to KC than anyone realized when we met her in Bully. Gone is the perfect, somewhat self absorbed best friend of Tate. KC is now trying to navigate her future while being back in the small town she grew up in. All the while staying next door to the one guy she knows she shouldn't be around.

Jax. Silently brooding, sweet, sexy Jax. On the outside he seems to have it all together, but beneath the surface he is anything but perfect. His pursuit and resistance of KC, the push and the pull, is exactly why I love him!

There is such a true understanding of likeness between these two, that the 'meant to be' fits this couple perfectly!

I so badly want to go in depth with the storyline but until the book is released I will refrain.
I will say that the way this story is woven completely SHOCKED and impressed me so much!! If you are a huge fan of Bully like I am, you are going to LOVE and fall in love with this book! The progression of KC's character is amazing throughout. For an author to take a character that is not the most liked and transform her into one you're whole heartedly cheering for in the end is true talent and also one of the reasons she will always be one of my favorites!
5+++ 'Crazie' good Stars!! ~Cami

Dusty Delinquents is just as impressive as Dusty Innocents was for me! This is not a hearts and rainbows story, this is a story of two kids falling hopelessly in love while addiction and dependence turn their love into crazy love.

While I rooted for them as a couple I still wanted Bliss to gain control and either help Dusty get his habit under control or show him how strong she was and leave him. Yes I know I'm contradicting myself but that's what this book does to you!

A little FYI.... I read this while in Vegas for the book signing and even though there were entertainers and slot machines galore, I couldn't wait to get back and read more each evening, In fact I didn't even care about the gambling or shows. This was my show!!!

Your heart will bleed right along with Bliss as she maneuvers her way through Dusty's addiction and their dependence on one another.

Not sure how I felt about the ending. Even though I needed that happy ending, I still felt that their ending is yours to conclude, which I also enjoyed. With that being said I would still like to see
more from this couple....(hint hint). ;)

Their train wreck of a relationship and connection is so entrancing to read about and quite simply, a match made in Heaven.

5 'Crazie' good Stars and one of my favorite stories! ~Cami

Hold onto your shorts kids because $#!+ just got real! This next installment in the Fallen Crest series is EXPLOSIVE! The angst, the drama, the fighting, the parties and the relationships new and old. It's all so exciting!!

Things around Fallen Crest have changed drastically since Mason left for college. Sam is having a hard time trying to deal with life now that she knows how Logan feels about her. Not to mention the pressure of standing on her own at school and trying to figure out how to move forward while missing Mason.

Mason is also finding it difficult being away from Sam. Dealing with college, a new roommate and team to get used to, and also the fact that Marissa has worked her way into his inner circle which he knows is going to complicate his life where Sam is concerned. Yes I said Marissa. Ugh!

Take my word when I tell you to allow yourself plenty of uninterrupted time to read because each chapter ends with you HAVING to turn the page! There are so many surprises that I never saw coming but I can't reveal or spoil them. It's so good you'll need to experience them for yourself, especially if you are a big FC lover like myself!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. This is by far my favorite series!

P.S.....The ending is in no way a cliffhanger but definitely leaves you wanting more! Enjoy!!!

I'll admit, while I was super excited for this sequel to Adriana and Vince's story, I did have some trepidation going into it. Like most sequels, Im always hoping they will continue to wield that magical power and keep me as intrigued as I was with the first book. I'm happy to say that Ms. Waltz did not disappoint! I was along for the intriguing thrill ride all the way to the end!

Adriana thinks she and Vince have cleared the way and only have the future to look forward to now. But Vince knows differently. He knows the war with the rival family, the Rizzos can't carry on and they need to find a way to make peace. Only he doesn't realize it may cost him his future.
When Adriana is approached by the Rizzos she has a choice to make. Work for them or risk both her mother and Vince's mother being killed. Oh and one other small detail.....break off the engagement with Vince and break his heart first. Yikes!!

This is one of the best mafia romance stories I've read in a long time.
It definitely left all the 'cheesiness' and stereotypes at the door. Even though it can be dark and sometimes disturbing, it has great angst, drama, romance, murder, lies and deceit. Everything you'd imagine a good mafia story to have.

If you're a fan of dark romantic mafia stories this book is calling your name! Highly recommend!

"I'm loud, I'm proud and I like to bust balls in my spare time."

OMG! Willow Knox is my new fictional girl crush!

After finishing Finding Me I was SO pumped to figure out WTH was going on with Low and Tate!
For six long years, Low has been harboring a secret. Running from her past and lying to her closest friends and boyfriend Tate.
Now she has to choose to once again run, or stay and face the dangers (and I mean DANGERS) from her past.

Willow is so badass, and with an attitude to match! She also possesses the skills to back up that attitude when fate and family come knocking.

Tate......hot, sexy, alpha Tate. He is so caring and patient. His love, devotion, and the lengths he goes to for Low are just.....ahhhhh!!

I will say, that I had to ask myself how on earth Tate was not jealous of Low's friendship with Ace?! Dear god that man is HOT!! I swear, if I had a friend as hot as Ace, my boyfriend( hypothetically speaking of course since I'm married, lol ) would have to be jealous!

But rest assured ladies, Tate makes it known that Low is his woman and his alone! (Swoon) Gotta love those alpha males!

Like in my previous reviews of the Bad Boy series I am not posting any spoilers in the review. I can't do it!! S.K's books have so many surprises in them and keep you guessing until the very end!

Now, even though this can be read as a standalone I still HIGHLY recommend that you read the first two books in the series so you can get to know a little about Low and Tate, but mainly because they're just so damn good!

Without a doubt, I give Finding Us 5 "Crazie" good Stars!!!!

Finally!!! I finally found some time to reconnect with my main man Greyson!

Everyone knows my love for Pamela Ann's writing style. I crave the angst she brings to the story and her characters always have a way of making me immediately fall in love with them.

We now find Liv brokenhearted and back in Australia with Liam after attending the wedding of Grey and Edith. Liam is determined to get her back and trying to seduce her out of her loneliness. Liv does decide to go back for Christmas, but once there she is tortured by the intimacy of the newlywed couple.

Of course Edith is her same manipulative evil self throughout the story and as much as I love Grey, he did piss me off a bit.

What ensues is a love/hate relationship until a dramatic event causes Grey to realize how much Liv means to him.

Now, I was left with questions at the end and there may have been a certain someone I was hoping would get more backlash than they got. But with that being said, I loved the angst, I loved the writing style and I loved the story!

Faithful by Louise Bay 4 "Crazie" good Stars!!

What a great debut novel by author Louise Bay!

Leah Thompson has it all, a wealthy boyfriend that just proposed, a good job and great friends. So why is she feeling less than thrilled and looking up an old crush online? Not expecting more than a few harmless messages between friends Leah is surprised when Daniel responds flirtatiously. She soon finds herself looking forward to the messages more than she should and Daniel makes it clear he is interested in being more than just friends. Suddenly Leah has a fiancé showing no love and an old crush hot on her tail. Now this is where the fun begins!! Daniel Armatage is one hot, persistent piece of eye candy! Towards the beginning I quickly found myself asking "Charlie who?"

There is so much more to this story than meets the eye. Ol Charlie boy isn't exactly the type of guy he leads you to believe he is. Then throw into the mix Leah's friends and the new 'friendship' with Daniel. Yikes! It makes for a VERY interesting read with loads of hot and heart melting moments! Daniel is definitely my type of guy! Possessive and caring all wrapped up in one big sexy package! I did find the ending a bit rushed. But this is one book I would without a doubt recommend because once Daniel gets in your system he's a hard one to let go! I anxiously await Ms. Bay's next book Hopeful!!

***************************************

This is the book!!

You know...... THE book!!
The one you are dying to have all your friends read and wanting them to love as much as you do. The one that keeps you up all night reading. The one that takes you days to recover from. The one you will never forget!

Growing up Helen has only known the life in the Hells Highwayman Motorcycle Club. A life she abhors and desperately wants out of. When her family suddenly dies, she is taken in by the president of the club and his family. His son Holden has been Hel's best friend since they were small. He's her protector, the only one in her life she trusts and also the one that is in love with her. Only, that love is one sided, because what she feels for him is that of a brother.

Holden is being groomed to one day take over the club, while all Hel wants is to break free and move far away. Little does she know, it was always the plan that she would carry on the MC legacy side by side with Holden.

After a tragic night something happens binding Hel to the club. Forever. Ruining any dream or chance she may of had to leave the club. Dying inside with the life she has been forced to endure, she realizes her only answer is to escape.

Years later, Hel has escaped but is always on the run from her "family", never settling in one place for too long. That's when she meets Vin. He is her opposite, nothing like what she is normally attracted to. But the pull and attraction to him is something she has never felt. Not even with Hold.  Vin has secrets as well. And suddenly both of their secrets are catching up to them with severe consequences.

This book is so much more than just an MC story. I have to be honest and tell you, the prologue almost scared me away. It was brutal and raw and I wasn't sure I'd be able to handle the rest of the story, but I am so happy I kept going or I would have missed one of my absolute favorite books!

The writing is superb, the characters are just.....agh!!! I love all of them!! Ok, maybe not Ward and Sandman, but you'll see what I mean when you read it. It is cliffhanger free and has a HEA!

So go get it now!  I want you to love it like I do! (see, told ya! It's THAT kind of book!)

I give Beautiful Ink 5++++ "Crazie good" STARS!!! ~Cami

Holy mother of angst!!

I have always said my favorite part of the story is angst, well this entire book was one big ball of angst and I LOVED every single second of it!!

The book spans over 20+ years (Yes it is a long, but it has 3 books in one!) and tells the story of Emmett and Donya.

Since the age of five Emmett and Donya have had a connection (or tether) that has always pulled them to one another. They can feel what the other is feeling.
After noticing Donya's parents were not actively involved in her life, Emmett's family "adopts" Donya into theirs. She quickly becomes a part of their family and the friends to lovers story begins.

One thing I adored was the unconditional love Fred and Sam had for Donya. Though she was not their biological child, she was in every single way one of their children.

It did take me some time to connect to Donya. Even if she was mature and supposedly level headed for her age, it wasn't until near the last quarter of the book that I began to really like and understand her.

Emmett on the other hand, I LOVED from the very beginning. Yes he did things that pissed me off but he always, ALWAYS was so caring, honest and genuine.

This book will stick with me just as the previous LD Davis books have. The writing style is superb and the characters become a part of your everyday life. (I thought about them at work, while making dinner, helping with 5th grade homework ect...)

This is a story of love, forgiveness, and second chances. You do not want to miss this truly beautiful story!!

5 "Crazie" stars!! ~Cami

This is one of the best suspense and action packed reads I have read this year!!

Not only does this book have a great love story, but also kept me on the edge of my seat with all of the suspense. Talk about heart pounding adventure with pure adrenalin! I was completely exhausted by the end of this book and I swear it was like watching an action packed movie from start to finish!

This author beautifully articulates this story of lies, deceit, wealth, power, lust and an all too consuming love.

Cameron Sterling is on the fast track at making partner at his law firm and is willing to do anything to make it happen. That includes helping one of the wealthiest fashion moguls, Sig Krok cover up his indiscretions. Little does Cam know that the woman he met in the elevator and cant get out of his mind is none other than Lilly Amsell, fashion model and Sig's fiancé. So when the couple formally meet and sparks fly it's only the beginning of a clandestine relationship that will take them into a world ruthless adversaries. Because Sig has no intentions of letting Lilly go.

The story takes us through the dirty dealings of Sig and the law firm, the indiscretions of Lilly and Cam, and the revelations of epic proportions! I keep referring to a movie, but honestly this could be made into one, it's that good!

This is only the beginning of my newfound relationship with Ms. Whitney's books. I look forward to reading more from this exceptionally talented author!

I give Beautiful Lies 4.5 'Crazie Good' Stars!! ~Cami

Love cannot even begin to describe how I feel about this book!! Play by Kylie Scott will be one I re-read over and over again! I am in serious love with MAL and only hope I can do this book justice with my review.

The witty banter had me laughing out loud and in all honesty, I might say I do...but I rarely LOL.
Mal is one of those characters that comes to life, bounces off the pages and into your heart. He is that smart ass friend you would want on your side in a war of words and better yet he's also the life of the party!

Anne is a doormat...(at first). She let's her friends use and abuse her. So when she meets Mal the famous drummer for Stage Dive at a party one night her mood is anything but receptive. But Mal decides he likes Anne and is going to make her his pretend girlfriend and new roommate. I swear the way he worms himself into situations is HILARIOUS!!

Their 'fake' relationship involves his band members, her boss (that she's secretly in love with) and both of their families. I had F'ing butterflies throughout this entire book!! Honestly, I only get those with the BEST OF THE BEST books!!! This story is an absolute MUST READ!!! (And can also be read as a standalone) ;)

This book contains every single quality I look for in a great story! Angst, love triangle, hot brooding bad boy, best friends, jealousy, and unrequited love just to name a few. Add in the authors writing style and this book was instant love for me!

Cameron and Tess have been best friends for years. Ever since Cam saved her from complete ruination at her new school where perception was everything.
That was the day she fell for him. Now years later she's just waiting for him to realize they belong together. But there's just one snag. And that snag happens to be his other best friend and resident asshole Adonis. Now back at college, Tess is not happy to find that Cam's new roommate happens to be the one and only resident asshole.
The verbal barbs Tess and Adonis share will leave you speechless! You can feel the hatred between the two in the beginning, but rest assured it doesn't stay that way. ;)

Yeah.........that's all your getting from me because I refuse to give anything away about this book! It's just one of those that you have to experience for yourself, it's that good!!
Now go get this book if you want to read a real kick ass angsty romance!

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!

5+++ "Crazie" Stars!! ~Cami

What a FANTASTIC collaboration between these two authors!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I'm a sucker for the...'we grew up together and never realized our feelings for each other'...kind of books. So this was right up my alley!

Addison is working hard and trying to keep her brother Dylan on track. From his constant moving around and obsessive interest in video games she feels he relies too heavily on their friend Brady, who always seems to 'swoop' in at just the right time to rescue Dylan from any predicament he may be in.

Brady is hottie with all the ladies falling at his feet...literally! ( you'll see what I mean when you read it) ;) But Dr. Brady also seems to be concerned with Addison's health, well being and what guy she's bringing to dinner. There is so much more to this story than I can tell without giving anything away.

Yes it may be a quick read, but believe me when I say you'll kick yourself if you pass it up just for that reason! The story flowed effortlessly and the dialogue was so great! You will fall head over heels for these characters INSTANTLY!

Wow! Wow! Wow! 4.5 "Crazie" Stars! ~Cami

If you are looking for a dark and twisted story, this book should definitely be your next read!
The synopsis caught my attention and once I started the book I was reeled in from the first few pages. I love the kind of books that can do that!

Sloane is desperately searching for answers. Her sister has gone missing and she's willing to do whatever it takes to find her.
Once she figures out it is going to take more than money to get what she's looking for, she decides to offer herself up for those answers.
And this is where the book takes a ride on the dark side. She meets up with a stranger and carries through with her part of the deal. Only to find out she was set up and never really going to learn the truth. It seems as if all hope is gone and she may never get the answers she so desperately needs to find her sister.
That is until two years later that same stranger walks into the ER where she works.
Now he needs her help, and once she realizes it's him she's determined to get her answers!
I really liked Sloanes character. She did everything in her power to find information about her sister. She stayed strong throughout the entire book and never wavered.
Zeth seriously scared the shit out of me! At first.
Then he became that character you don't want to love but somehow slips right in when you're not paying attention.
I will without a doubt continue to follow this series! It's one story that will stay with me and I won't have to go back and re-read before the next book comes out.
Highly recommend!!

******************************************

OMG!! If you thought the first two books in the series were great, wait until you get a ahold of this one!!!!!!
"Badass" Sam is back with a vengeance! And there are so many changes in Sam's life now that she is attending FCP. The drama in this book is off the charts and the vibe at FCP is without a doubt, VERY different from the Academy.

Now attending Fallen Crest Public and being Mason Kade's girlfriend, Sam knew she would have a target on her back. Add into the mix, Kate and her bitch crew, (oh and don't forget Tate) and Sam has got her hands full!
I expected Kate of course to be bitchy and cause trouble, but not to go to the extent she does. ( I should've known better after reading AWNC) ;). But OMG! These FCP kids are ruthless!

Of course Mason and Logan are not about to let anything happen to her!
I was so happy to get Mason's POV!!! When reading it, there are two sides to him that come through loud and clear. He's calculated...the wheels are always turning and he knows exactly what he's doing! And he's vulnerable.....ESPECIALLY when it comes to Sam.

This series is without a doubt one of the best I have ever read! The kind that sticks with you long after you read it and one you don't have to go back and read the previous books in the series to remember what's been happening.

There are twists and turns that will leave you speechless! Utterly SPEECHLESS I tell you! I won't reveal any spoilers though. I think it would ruin the story. But I will tell you, I LOVED every minute of it and my stomach was filled with butterflies throughout most of the book! Yes it is THAT GOOD!! Well played Tijan. Well played!

5++++++ "Crazie" Stars!!!! ~Cami

******************************************

I seriously LOVED this book! I'm always a sucker for the "we've grown up together and now I'm secretly in love with you" type of books! Especially when the character is a MAJOR player!!! Something about taming those bad boys that does me in.
Neva has known Logan forever, he's her brothers best friend and protector of her nightmares since her father died when they were young. But now they are in college and Logan is quite the ladies man around campus. But that doesn't stop Neva from crushing on him and wanting something that will never happen...Or so she thinks.
Logan has always noticed Neva, she just thought it was in the brotherly way. But that is definitely not the way he's looking.

Then there's Angel, he is also broken and stirs something in Neva. A bond of sorts that draws her in. But Angel doesn't want to protect Neva, he just wants her.
And when Logan finds Neva hanging with Angel boy oh boy do the sparks fly! Because Neva is starting to have feelings for Angel as well. I love a good love triangle!

Now I will tell you there were some "step away from the kindle" moments. While I liked Neva, I was pissed at her. I mean REALLY pissed!! Like the "I know who you should be with, you know who you should be with...why are you fighting it?!" kinda pissed.

I am not posting any spoilers in this review. I can't do it!! I loved this book and the surprise too much to give it away!
I know I say this a lot, but I seriously CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK!!!

5 "Crazie" Stars!!!! ~Cami

There are books and then there are Tijan's books!! If  you are looking for a dark, dangerous and damn good romance, you've just found it!  Oh and did I mention, MAFIA? Ha! I knew that would grab your attention ;)

After Emma comes home to find her roommates boyfriend raping her, she makes the decision to kill him. Now Emma and her roommate are on the run from the local mafia king, who also happens to be the father of the man she killed.
Not knowing where to go, she turns to the only man that will be able to protect her. Carter Reed, the rival mafia boss himself.

But did she make a mistake? He's now known as the Cold Killer. Gone is the boy she and her brother AJ grew up with.  The man that stands before her is cold, calculated and hard to read. Can she trust this new Carter? The only thought that keeps running through her mind are her brothers final words to her..."Go to Carter."
"You don't trust anyone, no one except Carter. Go to Carter. He'll take care of everything. He'll take care of you Em's. I promise."

Little does she know, Carter has been waiting for this moment. After AJ was killed, he decided to exact revenge on all of the people involved in his death. He also vowed to watch over Emma without her knowing it so she could lead a normal life.
Now time and circumstances have reunited this couple.

"You did all of that for me?"
"I would declare war for you." ~Carter

This book is one of the absolute best thriller/romance books I've read!
Carter......Oh Lordy! Carter Reed is one lethal character. I was so happy his POV was included throughout the book. I love when we get to see what goes through these guys minds. Carter came  across as sexy, confident and dangerous. Everything he should've been. He's perfect! And the way he is so fiercely protective of Emma is what really reeled me in.

Emma.... I think I loved Emma as much as I did Carter. It may be called Carter Reed, but I felt as though this was Emma's story. Even though she knew she needed Carter's help, she still came across strong and self reliant.
The sexual tension between these two was intense and their sex scenes were HOT!!
I hate to give away anymore than I already have. Just trust me when I say you will love this book! The twists and turns in the plot will keep you second guessing yourself and leery of some of the characters. I swear I was in Emma mode throughout the book...I wasn't sure who to trust either! A word to the wise..... Clear your schedule before you start.  This is without a doubt, a book you will not be able to put down!!

Carter Reed by Tijan gets 5++++++ Crazie Stars!!! ~Cami

Looking for a book with a HEA and no cliffhanger?? Well here's your book!

Maddy Jennings has to go back. Back for her brothers wedding, back to the town she grew up in and back to face the one man she'd rather avoid. Trent Basso was Maddy's first. First love, first kiss, first everything. But that all changed after high school when they left for different colleges.
Trent's older brother Gabe has always been there for Maddy. Even when his baby brother decided to end his relationship with her. Gabe was the one to pick up the pieces, the one to always do right by his brother AND the one who has been secretly in love with his brothers girl. But Trent wants Maddy back in his life. And now that they are back home and all bets are off. The sexy Basso brothers declare Maddy fair game and in this game, it's....may the best man win!

After reading the synopsis of this book I knew I would love it! Nothing like a good love triangle to get the drama flowing. And then to find out its between two sexy brothers and a girl they grew up with! Oh my GAWD!
The family drama that accompanied this story had me torn up. One moment, I hated the mom and the next I was hoping for Maddy to try and forgive her. The way the story is told was unexpected, but in a good way! It takes you from present day, back to high school then continues to do that throughout the book so you are able to get a clearer picture as to what really went on in their pasts.
Ian, Maddy's best friend is a hoot! Everyone needs an Ian! I think what readers will love most, is the happy ending with no cliffy!

She’s scarred by her past.

ANDREA EVANS is traumatized and guilt-ridden by the death of her fiancée. Tired of the gossiping small town, she travels to New York City to pursue her dream of dance.

He’s uncertain of his future.

COOPER DAVIDSON is a famous photographer and reality television star trying to flee from his own life filled with paparazzi, mental health clinics, and a cheating wife who is pregnant.

When Andrea and Cooper’s paths cross, they realize how damaged and in need of escapism they both are. The two create an arrangement to explore the space in between chaos and order with one another. The rules are simple—no emotional connections, no talking about the past, no speaking of the future, and when one finds order, the other walks away.

All is well until Cooper accidentally falls in love with Andrea.
I can only hope I will do this beautifully written story justice with my review....

From the first few pages I was instantly entranced with this authors writing style. The words flowed so freely and I was immediately drawn into the story.

Andie Evans is broken. And when I say broken, I mean cannot be put back together broken. After losing her fiancé, she's moved to New York with a friend to escape her small town and all of the pitying looks. Sorrow is eating her alive.

Cooper Davidson is broken as well. But his is of a different kind. He recently found out his wife is a cheating pregnant whore! (Sorry, I had to say it!) What better reason to have a mental breakdown in front an entire nation right?! The famous photographer is now trying to move on, but his "wife" has different plans for him.

What happens when these two broken people cross paths?

First of all let me just say, I normally go for the jealous, possessive, bad ass attitude type of heroes. Cooper is not that hero, and I STILL fell head over heels for him!! (And that's saying alot!) The understanding he gave to Andie as she worked through her issues was so admirable. Not to mention their awkward situation upon meeting, he never once judged her! It may have helped that they actually knew each other, but throughout the entire book, he made us well aware of his protectiveness. Oh, and there was still some jealousy going on ;) (swooning here!)

I absolutely adored Andie and how she placed "rules" on their "friendship". I will never hear the word "soda pop" again and not think of this book!! ;) The other thing I can say about Andie, is that I truly felt her pain and was so happy when she was able to overcome her past. I loved her bestie Ladasha!!! Not only did she add comedy to the story with her witty banter, but she also had a story of her own.

The title to this book is so deep and truly meaningful. As I was reading the part of the book that explains it (the title), I was thinking Wow!.....I never thought of it that way. And this only reaffirmed my first thought when I started the book. That this author has TRUE talent!

Towards the end there are MANY secrets revealed that will leave you speechless!! It was like watching all my favorite dramas rolled into one! Just when you think you've figured it out, you hit that upside down loop on the roller coaster. But guess what??? This story has a HEA!!! Woohoo!!
The Space In Between gets 5++"Crazie" stars!!!!

Synopsis:

Made from Greater Stone by RJ Simpkin is the first novel in the Stone Series. A story of passion, romance, glamour, and secrecy.

When graduate Olivia Bennett moves to Chicago she is thrust into a world sugar coated in feathers and crystals. This world is the world of Burlesque. It's during this time of discovery that she meets Nathan Stone, a handsome successful entrepreneur.

She finds herself drawn to him, in way she has never felt before. Convinced he is out of her league she tries to forget him. However Nathan has ideas of his own planned for the Burlesque starlet.

Olivia soon learns that her new life is not all rhinestones and sparkle. Nathan has skeletons in his closet; a dark past that threatens any future they may have together.

Wow! What a great debut novel from RJ Simpkin.

If you are like me and not familiar with the world of burlesque, you are going to be pleasantly surprised with this story...
Olivia finds herself in a new city living with her best friend Joseph after recently graduating from college. But without a lot of job prospects, she decides to rekindle her burlesque alter ego "Miss Honey Glaze" at a local nightclub.

From the moment "Honey" meets Nathan Stone she feels the oh so electrifying pull between them. What she doesn't realize is just how powerful and rich Mr. Stone is. Though Nathan does not "do" relationships, he soon finds himself wanting to protect and spend all of his free time with the beautiful burlesque dancer. But the secrets Nathan holds are keeping them from moving forward, and once those secrets are revealed Nathan and Honey have decisions to make.

I found this book to be very unique! Not many books out there with the burlesque theme to them. The "Brit" terminology was a little confusing. But overall, I REALLY enjoyed this book and the relationship between Nathan and Honey. His love and need to be with her was SWOONtastic! The premise reminded me of FSOG in a way...just with pastie tassles!

The ending had a HUGE cliffy!! But I loved it!! The shock factor was in full force, and I will definitely be reading the next book in the series to find out what happens to these characters. I mean, you can't leave me dangling on the edge and not expect me to try and pull myself up to see what happens next! Made From Greater Stone gets 4 "Crazie" Stars!!

REVIEW.....

First of all let me just say that I LOVE this title!! It has such a beautiful meaning to it. Going into this book, I knew instantly I was going to fall for Grayson. Mr. Popular "player" to the world, but such a good guy with a heart of gold on the inside.

This is a story of love at first sight.....
Huntley and Grayson meet when Huntley moves to live with her aunt and uncle after losing both of her parents. Needless to say Grayson is instantly smitten with Huntley.
But after everything Huntley has been through she is not so easily convinced and the two try to stay away from one another.
Both have secrets they hide deep inside. And both are afraid once those secrets are revealed that the other will run.
But what ensues, is a sweet drama filled love story of two broken people.
There is so much more to this story but I don't want to give too much away! Oh ok, what the heck, maybe just a little more! ;)
Once Huntley's past catches up with her is when the real drama starts. I kept thinking to myself...how much more can this poor girl take?!

Then there was the story of their best friends Demi and Brody. Oooo lala!! Talk about more angsty loving drama! I will be honest and say, that I loved their story as much as I did Huntley and Grayson's.
And the ending....oh the ending!!!
Let me just put a WARNING TO READER in here. If.....you hate to ugly cry at happy endings. Do not read the end! Because it is one BIG, happy, crying ugly tears kind of ending! It was GREAT!!
And THAT is why Beneath Your Beautiful by Tamsyn Bester gets 5 "Crazie" good stars from this reviewer! <3

My name is Tate. He doesn't call me that, though. He would never refer to me so informally, if he referred to me at all. No, he'll barely even speak to me.

But he still won't leave me alone.

We were best friends once. Then he turned on me and made it his mission to ruin my life. I've been humiliated, shut out, and gossiped about all through high school. His pranks and rumors got more sadistic as time wore on, and I made myself sick trying to stay out of his way. I even went to France for a year, just to avoid him.

But I'm done hiding from him now, and there's no way in hell I'll allow him to ruin my senior year. He might not have changed, but I have. It's time to fight back.

WOWZA!!!!! 5 "Crazie" Stars!!

With so many great NA books out there right now, I have to say that this is one of the absolute BEST!!!!!!!!

Jared and Tatum were best friends all through childhood, until one summer Jared goes away to visit his dad. The boy that comes back, is not the same best friend that Tatum has grown to love. This Jared is cruel and makes it his mission to embarrass her and she has no idea why.

With her father working overseas and her mother gone from cancer
"Tate" decides to go study in France for a year; something her mother would have wanted her to do. But when she returns for her senior year of high school she quickly finds out some things are still the same, yet she is still determined to avoid and ignore Jared for the rest of the school year.
(Oh, did I forget to mention that Jared is her next door neighbor? Yep, kinda hard to avoid the neighbor finding out you're back!)

But a year in France has changed Tate. When her best, and only friend K.C. suggests its time she fights back, she decides to take the suggestion. And what better time than when her "neighbor" decides to throw a party.
Between Jared and Madoc (Jared's best friend and fellow tormentor), they give...she takes...and now Tate is DONE putting up with their crap and starts to fight back! But as much as she hates Jared, there is still a pull to him she can't explain.

Once Tate starts sticking up for herself, the dynamics between the two start to change. Not of course with out a little more drama. Jared starts to try and get close with K.C.,
which of course is to piss Tate off.
Once secrets are revealed, can Tate find a way to forgive her "bully"? Or will she become one herself?

I know some people may have a problem with how Jared bullies Tate, but deep down you know there are underlying issues that need to be addressed. I absolutely LOVED that when Tate came back from France she finally found a backbone and turned into a total badass heroine! The electricity between these two "zinged" off the pages!!! I have to say, that I fell for Jared from the beginning. Even through his pranks, you could feel the undercurrent of his true feelings for Tate.

Although, I did feel at times Tate was a little too forgiving. Like with her bestie K.C.....
Had that been my BFF that started hanging with my tormentor, I would not have been so quick to forgive. Just like the "bro-code", there is also a "girl-code". DO NOT hang with thy enemy!! But of course it just added to the story! ;)

I am an angst lover....bring it on....the more the merrier!! And man oh man, did this book deliver!!! I was completely sucked into this story from the very first page! This is one book that I will be reading over and over. An absolute re-read and a DEFINITE 5 "Crazie" stars kind of book!!!!

Sometimes in a sequel book I tend to become bored with the main characters after they have finally gotten together. The chase is over, yes there may be other contributing factors, but you just lose that initial tingly feeling in the pit of your stomach every time they come together. I can honestly say, that is NOT the case in this book!!!

Sam and Mason are now together and Mason wants everyone to know it.
Although we don't see the "I don't give a shit"attitude from Sam in this book as much as we did in FCH, she dealing with a lot of issues with her mother. And starting to have memories of things that happened when she was little. This explains why she is the way she is. And why she has the itching need to go for a run and why she is also scared of her " bat shit CRAZY" mother.

Mason of course continues to be her rock. Along with Logan who is also there to help protect her from her mother. But when mommy dearest issues an ultimatum, the three of them are torn apart. However, being torn apart only strengthens their bond. We also get to see a "softer" side to Mason. (Hence the "smiling" Mason below) ;)

Much to Mason's suggesting, Sam decides to register at Fallen Crest Public and join the track team. She also meets a new friend she didn't realize she needed when she takes a waitressing job at a local diner/bar. But after meeting Heather and finding out she also attends FCP, she knows that she will need as many friends as she can get, especially,if she's going to attend school there as Mason Kade's girlfriend. Can I just say,I absolutely LOVE Heather?! I love her banter and witty remarks to Logan. Heather's feistiness will also come in handy when trying to help Sam with the "Elite" girls later on.

Mason is now more than ever had over heels in love with Sam and will do whatever it takes to protect her. Logan is still up to his antics, but also fiercely protective over Sam and loyal to his brother. And now Nate has returned. Although, Nate and Logan are not always seeing eye to eye, the fearsome foursome are together and seem to be unstoppable.

But just when you think all is well that ends well. Think again!!
A blast from the past walks in and threatens to tear apart everything Mason has tried so hard to put back together. I'm also not completely trusting of Nate yet. I am fiercely protective of my Logan and I don't care for the way Nate's been treating him! :p

The ending is not a cliffy, more like a continuation of the story. This series could go on and on and on and I would read it and devour it like I did the very first one!! I look forward to continuing with the gang when Fallen Crest Public is released.

Fallen Crest Family gets 5 BIG "Crazie" stars!!!!!! ~Cami

REVIEW.....

Let me start off by saying that this book was a HUGE surprise to me! I am not usually into paranormal romances, (the only one I've read was Twilight) so I was quite skeptical when I started reading this book.

With that being said, I believe this book will resonate with readers of all genres. Yes it is THAT good!!! The writing is impeccable, and the drama is intense!! This was a "alert the family to fend for themselves until I'm done reading" type of book!

In high school Lily was always known as a freak to her family and friends. After a terrible accident that causes her to lose the only person she ever truly loved, Lily sets out to find the truth about her abilities and closes herself off to the feelings of becoming close to anyone.

Enter Ashton, the sexy club owner with a few secrets of his own. At their first encounter the connection is instantaneous and intense!! Sparks fly....literally! Ashton wants Lily and wastes no time making his move.

Then Lily meets Blake and finds they both share the same powers.
Lily's powers are getting stronger and harder to control and Blake wants to help her control her powers, but he also warns her to stay away from Ashton.

I was so torn reading this book!! One minute I was wanting her to trust and be with Ashton, but the next, I wasn't sure I fully trusted him and then wanted her to be with Blake! It was so confusingly good!! And then,I won't even start about Ashton's secret and the hatred between Ashton and Blake!

All is not as it seems with these men and someone is after Lily. Blake and Ashton vow to keep her safe. Once the secrets are uncovered, Lily has a hard time trying to decide who to trust.( I was right there with ya sister!) She also has a hard time trying to decide who she is more attracted to...Blake or Ashton. ( Yep, me too!) Blake...with whom she shares a similar power with and makes her feel safe? (..swoon..) Or Ashton.....the man that can make her short circuit by just walking in the room? (Taylor Swift's "Sparks Fly" song worthy!)

This book kept me on the edge of my seat the ENTIRE time! Just as I thought I had it figured out, I was back at square one! The sexual attraction between the characters was intense! There is so much more to this story but I just don't want to give it all away!
This book does end with a cliffy, and boy oh boy does Emma Shade know how to write a cliffhanger! Actually, it's more like a complete drop off the side of the hill with nothing to grab on to! Shocking is all I can say! It left me wanting book #2 right now!!!

We rate Finding Obscurity 5 "Crazie" stars!! This is a fantastic debut novel by Emma Shade that you do not want to miss reading!!

******************************************

Emerge is going on my top 5 reads of the year!! If you enjoy the NA genre, this is one of the best ones out there! Once I started reading this story I was hooked!

Emerge is Laney Walker's story; an 18 yr old quick witted, athletic, southern girl who lets few get too close and uses her sarcastic zingers to deflect most situations. Laney grew up without her mom, but has an amazing father who has always been there for her. She is your typical girl next door, confident on the outside, but seems to still struggle internally.

Meet Evan Allen. Evan has been Laney's best friend since they were 10 yrs old and he decided it was his job to protect Laney. Evan is Laney's rock, her Mr. Grain of Salt.

Evan has always hidden his love for Laney and decides to tell her. But when Laney doesn't get accepted to the same college as Evan, their new found love is cut short. Laney is devastated as she heads to Southern college, while her best friend Kaitlyn and Evan head to UGA. But Evan professes his never ending love for Laney will not falter while they are apart.

Enter Dane Kendrick. WOWZA!!!! One of the new faces she meets while in her new co-ed dorms. The attraction they both feel is immediate and intense! But Dane is not as forthcoming about his past as Laney would like. Not to mention she is still heartbroken about losing her best friend/ boyfriend Evan. But Dane awakens something new and unexpected in her she never new exsisted. This is where things get complicated. Is Evan her first and true love, or is the intense connection she feels for Dane a once in a lifetime kind of love?

I absolutely devoured this story! By the middle of the book I was so torn between Evan and Dane I wanted to cry! I love the way the author used everyones POV's. It always helps to see where everyone is coming from, before I decide who I'm really rooting for!
Did Laney's naitivity drive me nuts sometimes? YES!!!
Did I want to pull my hair out at Dane's aloofness? YES!! But those are the things that create the drama. Crazy kids! ;) The rest of "The Crew" will have you laughing out loud with their witty banter!!

This is Laney's coming of age journey...starting at a new college, with a new softball team and a quirky roommate.
A tale of friendship, loyalty, first love, primal love and...life.

This is not a cliffhanger ending, but there will be more books in the series. This is a MUST read, so be sure to add it to your bookshelf!! I would rate this book 5 FANTASTIC STARS! ~Cami
