“When a person met Marc for the first time, the only words that ever come to mind was “ROUGH”.” Lily

This book WOW! This freaking book is kickass, full of steamy sex, suspense, action and once you start you are in for an amazing adventure that you do not want to miss out. Best Laid Plans takes place in North Africa where “Marcelle De Sant aka Marc” a well known hit man has only one month left to finish his assignment and he is out. He is really looking forward to get this new assignment over with. His job was to steal some blood diamonds and deliver them to the Russian mob. He is ready for a long vacation once this was over with. However; he didn’t anticipated meeting Lily and life got so much complicated than what he was used to.

Liliana Brewster aka Lily has been a transporter and for the past five years she has only one motivation and one goal “Revenge”. She only has one week left to smuggle the diamonds out of Liberia and into Russia. Lily had flirted with Marc while on her mission for few weeks; he was hot enough to have a one night stand she thought. So she followed him one night and they had a steamy night that was unforgettable. The next morning everything changed; Marc and Lily found themselves on a dangerous mission they both got caught into lies and were forced to fight for their lives away from Africa. Trust was a big issue for both of them; they were both on their own and desperately to do anything to get what they have to do to reach each of their goals.
“One of the worst cities in the world, and here was an auburn goddess with rosy skin and a lavender scent.” Marc

This book was packed with action full of suspense that had me biting my nails one minute and the other well it was hot. Marc and Lily ended up together trying to survived and developed feelings for each other. After fighting all the time of course she was stubborn and independent and he was well he was badass Marc Raw and strong and unpredictable. Their sexual chemistry was defiantly undeniable it was so HOT especially after a good fight they would go wild for each other. Marc and Lily had sex in the car, in the shower basically everywhere and it was amazingly HOT. They had to change strategies so both can get out of this mess alive.

“He grabbed her by the back of her head and pulled her in for a kiss.” Marc
“She grabbed the straps of his vest and yanked him even closer, sliding her tongue into his mouth before he could make that move first.” Lily

The events heading to the ending left me speechless, I was so angry at the choices Marc made and I am dying to get my hands on book two right away. Yes there is a cliffy ok a BIG cliffy whatever but best know you do not want to miss out on this fantastic adventure. I loved The author outdid herself with this one I absolutely loved every single minute of it and I just couldn’t get enough. Looking forward to more of Marc and Lily and more action on the next book.

Elizabeth's Review~ Forbid Me~ M. Robinson

★5 Forbidden Stars! ★

"I won't loose you again. You're mine, Lillian."-Jacob

Forbid Me is the second book in The Good Ol' Boys Series and it was a thrilling read. Lily and Jacob were magical together and every moment with them was simply unforgettable.
"Have you ever wanted something so badly that it consumed your very being? Something that you could practically taste on your tongue. Something that was all you thought about, day in and day out?"-Lily

We met Lily and Jacob in the first book of the seriesComplicate Me. Lily is Lucas' younger sister and Jacob is Lucas' best friend. Following the theme of the first book in the series, we have a case of "forbidden love". Jacob is seven years older than Lily. Although he should be feeling "brotherly" love for her, when Lily blossoms into a young woman Jacob feels something completely opposite of what a brother should feel for a sister. Additionally, Lily is head over heels in love with Jacob. Can they ever find a way to overcome the age difference and the judgement of their family, and friends?

"Every time I pictured my future, it was always with Lily by my side."-Jacob

As Forbid Me shifts between the present and the past, we experience the developing friendship between Jacob and Lily and the undeniable attraction they share. Although Jacob tries to do the "honorable" thing, Lily is a vixen that will stop at nothing to be with him. The constant push and pull was invigorating with the intense sexual chemistry building and the continuous battle of the wills between Lily and Jacob! Perhaps one of the most refreshing elements of this read is the tenacity of Lily! Jacob makes plenty of mistakes and when he "comes back" to "claim her", he has to work for it! (Which, might I add, just made the chase even that more exciting!)

"His love fucking consumed me."-Lily

Both Jacob and Lily are complex characters with a great deal of heart! The fact that they must face circumstances that are continually ripping them apart only makes their reunion that much sweeter! To have a read where both the hero and the heroine are so well matched for one another is like winning the lottery! The passion between these two was smoking hot.

"I want you in my mouth, Lillian. I could taste you in my dream. I woke up knowing what I wanted for breakfast. I want you in my bed."-Jacob

Told in dual POV, Forbid Me offers a perfect blend of romance and steam. The supporting characters continue to play a vital role in the plot development and enhance each moment with their strong connections to each other. With a well constructed story arc, witty dialogue, and unforgettable characters, this is one read you do not want to miss!

"Just her. Always her."- Jacob

"Just Jacob. Only him."- Lily
Overall, Forbid Me is more than just a 5 star read. It is a "must drop everything on my TBR shelf" and "read it NOW"! I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. I have already been back to my kindle to re-read my favorite scenes (several times). Additionally, I will be counting down the days for the next Good Ol' Boy to hit my kindle. Bravo M. Robinson! Bravo!

My Rating 4.5***Love me some Painter Stars

Title: Reaper's Fall
Author: Joanna Wylde
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Type: Standalone book 5 of Reapers MC series
POV: First Person – Dual

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
“She was mine. She’s always been mine. I’d be damned if I’d share her with another man.” Painter

Ok I’ve always liked painter since the beginning of the series. Yes he annoyed me for not claiming Em but I am so glad now that he didn’t because Painter and Mel are just amazing together. They were just perfect for each other.

This story is about Levi aka “Painter” Brooks. He went to jail for a while; He had met Mel right before he was sent to jail. They would write to each other and I was so happy that Mel did that because my poor Painter really deserved to be happy for once. However; he was hard headed like all the MC man you have met on this series. They are just too chicken to settle down for whatever reason afraid that they are just never good enough for their woman. The thing is they didn’t realize once the girls fall hard for them nothing really matters they are blinded by their love and relationship they have for them.
“His gaze met mine, burning through me, and I swear-the world started spinning.” Mel

We met Melanie aka “Mel” Tucker on the last book she was Jessica’s best friend, she was the one that accidentally caused the house fire for London at least that’s what she always believe that it was her fault. Ever since Painter helped her on the last book she had a thing for him. Mel was young and her father was a drunk, her mother had abandoned her and she needed to feel safe and loved. London and Reese took her in but she knew she needed to get her own life together. Painter encouraged her and helped her with some cash and let her have his vehicle while he was in jail. Her letters gave him hope and kept him going. He was falling for this girl fast and he didn’t even know it.
“Never stopped thinking about her, though. Not once. She’d become my anchor.” Painter

This book takes place in different time periods when they first met, while he was in jail, the time she waited for him. And then well she gets knocked up when he gets out and a whole new life Mel was not prepared to deal with but she managed even without Painter’s support because he gets put back to jail for another two years right after he found out about her baby. Time was not fun for these two but they both learned to be parents without having an intimate relationship once Painter was released from jail. The chemistry between these two was so hot omg I loved it so much. I understood why she wouldn’t forgive him. He realized a bit too late he fucked up big time but he never gave up on them; I loved painter so much on this book. He was ugh badass. Mel did end up being some badass herself at the end and I really loved that they both were able to understand each other at the end. Their daughter was just adorable I loved that baby girl was able to make their relationship better in some way.

Painter did his best to be there as a father for baby Izzy and he tried to be good for both of them. He was very talented as a painter his work was selling like hot bread he was making good “honest” money for Mel and his daughter. He let Mel do what she wanted but he had one rule “no dating bikers” it was stupid but I get it if she didn’t want to be with him because he was a member of the MC Reapers so why would she date another biker? I mean I get it. Well he finally couldn’t help it and finally claimed her. Lots of events happened that caused her to realize she would never be able to love anyone else, he had ruined her for anyone else and finally gave in. I love the way Painter was with Mel, I love how sweet he could be and how freaking HARD he could also be. He was just awesome in my eyes. Yes he fucked up but he grew up and realized what was important and I loved him for that.

I was so happy to see some of the Reapers showed up on this book. Reese what can I say I love that man haha. This book was really good, I enjoyed it from the beginning. I enjoyed how all the MC and the old ladies always had Painter and Mel’s back they are really true family and I loved them for that. I will be honest it took me a while to remember all the Reapers and the old ladies because it has been a while since I read the rest of the series but it was worth it. By the time I finished I remembered all of them and I cannot wait for the next book which I hope is Gage because damn that teaser was freaking HOTTT.

My Rating 4.5***Soul Mate Stars

Author:S.M. Yair-Levy
Type:Book 1 of The Collectors Series
POV:First Person - Dual

“The world was dark again without her light…This wasn’t her fairytale, her happy ending.” Dylan

Stolen is the story of a twenty-one year old Dylan Prescott aka “Temperance Elementa”. After the death of her parents she felt alone even with her grandmother’s love and her best friend Aria; she tried to distance herself from everyone. She was bound to never open up and give her heart to anyone because loosing love ones hurt so much. Dylan went to college and met Tristian; a hot, mysterious and intimidating boy that affected her in ways she couldn’t comprehend. When their teacher puts them together as partners for the rest of the semester she didn’t know what to do with that. Dylan was stubborn and wasn’t putting up with cocky Tristan.

Tristian Steward aka “Tristian Effingo”; had been watching Dylan for two years now but when he was pared with her on class; being near her gave him the feels he had never had for anyone before. He wasn’t human and neither was her but she didn’t know that yet. He had an assignment and it was to find her and her “real parents” location. When Dylan found out that she wasn’t a human the information was so hard for her to take in but if it wasn’t for the vampires and stuff she actually witnessed she would have not believed Tristan. Everyone was after Dylan; she was the most powerful Demon there was and she didn’t even know
“How is it the one person you shouldn’t have is the one person you can’t imagine living without?” Tristian

During the time Dylan and Tristian spent together they started having feelings for each other. The more time they spent together the stronger the feelings. Dylan found herself in trouble and was able to use some of her powers but it almost killed her. Tristan helped her thru it and tried to stay with her until his work was done. He knew they couldn’t be together once his job was completed he would disappear to his world and never see her again. However; the pulled between these two was so strong it was hard not to feel it. I loved the chemistry that Dylan and Tristian had; it was epic they both absolutely fell for each other.
“He wanted to brand her, to stamp his mark into her flesh for the entire world to see she was his.” Tristian

They were both Soul extracting demons, they use the souls of people to give them more power. Dylan wasn’t happy per say with this revelation she was afraid of this. She even stopped Tristian when she saw him stealing the soul of a police officer. She couldn’t bare the idea of feeding off of people. However; she was tricked and given to an evil Demon that wanted to use her powers which she didn’t yet have or knew how to use them. The entire book was a roller coaster ride, I was a nervous wrecked. Time was precious on this book and I just couldn’t stop reading. I was on the edge of my seat I wanted Tristian to save Dylan so bad, I wanted Dylan to be strong and get her powers; however she was new to this world of Demons, Werewolf, Vampires and was not strong enough as everyone kept saying she was. This book was full of action and suspense I just couldn’t get enough I wanted answers, I loved all the characters Tristian was my favorite, Dylan, her friend Aria, even Asher he was such a fun Demon. I can’t wait to read the next book on this series. The ending well….all I know is that I will cry myself to sleep tonight because I was completely not expecting all the events at the ending of this book. It literally got me by surprised and gutted me. Like laterally I need therapy and I really don’t know what my feelings are doing right now but I might need a lot of booze to survive the waiting of book two. To all my paranormal/fantasy readers you need to read this.
“He was hers as much as she was his. Nothing could keep them apart now. She owned him and he’d follow her to the gates of Hell if need be.” Tristian
