CAMI'S REVIEW~THE SPACE IN BETWEEN by Brittainy C. Cherry

She’s scarred by her past.

ANDREA EVANS is traumatized and guilt-ridden by the death of her fiancée. Tired of the gossiping small town, she travels to New York City to pursue her dream of dance.

He’s uncertain of his future.

COOPER DAVIDSON is a famous photographer and reality television star trying to flee from his own life filled with paparazzi, mental health clinics, and a cheating wife who is pregnant.

When Andrea and Cooper’s paths cross, they realize how damaged and in need of escapism they both are. The two create an arrangement to explore the space in between chaos and order with one another. The rules are simple—no emotional connections, no talking about the past, no speaking of the future, and when one finds order, the other walks away.

All is well until Cooper accidentally falls in love with Andrea.
I can only hope I will do this beautifully written story justice with my review....

From the first few pages I was instantly entranced with this authors writing style. The words flowed so freely and I was immediately drawn into the story.

Andie Evans is broken. And when I say broken, I mean cannot be put back together broken. After losing her fiancĂ©, she's moved to New York with a friend to escape her small town and all of the pitying looks. Sorrow is eating her alive.

Cooper Davidson is broken as well. But his is of a different kind. He recently found out his wife is a cheating pregnant whore! (Sorry, I had to say it!) What better reason to have a mental breakdown in front an entire nation right?! The famous photographer is now trying to move on, but his "wife" has different plans for him.

What happens when these two broken people cross paths?

First of all let me just say, I normally go for the jealous, possessive, bad ass attitude type of heroes. Cooper is not that hero, and I STILL fell head over heels for him!! (And that's saying alot!) The understanding he gave to Andie as she worked through her issues was so admirable. Not to mention their awkward situation upon meeting, he never once judged her! It may have helped that they actually knew each other, but throughout the entire book, he made us well aware of his protectiveness. Oh, and there was still some jealousy going on ;) (swooning here!)

I absolutely adored Andie and how she placed "rules" on their "friendship". I will never hear the word "soda pop" again and not think of this book!! ;) The other thing I can say about Andie, is that I truly felt her pain and was so happy when she was able to overcome her past. I loved her bestie Ladasha!!! Not only did she add comedy to the story with her witty banter, but she also had a story of her own.

The title to this book is so deep and truly meaningful. As I was reading the part of the book that explains it (the title), I was thinking Wow!.....I never thought of it that way. And this only reaffirmed my first thought when I started the book. That this author has TRUE talent!

Towards the end there are MANY secrets revealed that will leave you speechless!! It was like watching all my favorite dramas rolled into one! Just when you think you've figured it out, you hit that upside down loop on the roller coaster. But guess what??? This story has a HEA!!! Woohoo!!

The Space In Between gets 5++"Crazie" stars!!!! ~Cami

CAMI'S REVIEW~MADE FROM GREATER STONE by RJ Simpkin

Synopsis:

Made from Greater Stone by RJ Simpkin is the first novel in the Stone Series. A story of passion, romance, glamour, and secrecy.

When graduate Olivia Bennett moves to Chicago she is thrust into a world sugar coated in feathers and crystals. This world is the world of Burlesque. It's during this time of discovery that she meets Nathan Stone, a handsome successful entrepreneur.

She finds herself drawn to him, in way she has never felt before. Convinced he is out of her league she tries to forget him. However Nathan has ideas of his own planned for the Burlesque starlet.

Olivia soon learns that her new life is not all rhinestones and sparkle. Nathan has skeletons in his closet; a dark past that threatens any future they may have together.

Wow! What a great debut novel from RJ Simpkin.

If you are like me and not familiar with the world of burlesque, you are going to be pleasantly surprised with this story...
Olivia finds herself in a new city living with her best friend Joseph after recently graduating from college. But without a lot of job prospects, she decides to rekindle her burlesque alter ego "Miss Honey Glaze" at a local nightclub.

From the moment "Honey" meets Nathan Stone she feels the oh so electrifying pull between them. What she doesn't realize is just how powerful and rich Mr. Stone is. Though Nathan does not "do" relationships, he soon finds himself wanting to protect and spend all of his free time with the beautiful burlesque dancer. But the secrets Nathan holds are keeping them from moving forward, and once those secrets are revealed Nathan and Honey have decisions to make.

I found this book to be very unique! Not many books out there with the burlesque theme to them. The "Brit" terminology was a little confusing. But overall, I REALLY enjoyed this book and the relationship between Nathan and Honey. His love and need to be with her was SWOONtastic! The premise reminded me of FSOG in a way...just with pastie tassels!

The ending had a HUGE cliffy!! But I loved it!! The shock factor was in full force, and I will definitely be reading the next book in the series to find out what happens to these characters. I mean, you can't leave me dangling on the edge and not expect me to try and pull myself up to see what happens next!

Made From Greater Stone gets 4 "Crazie" Stars!! ~Cami

CAMI'S REVIEW~BENEATH YOUR BEAUTIFUL by Tamsyn Bester

On the outside, Huntley Morgan is your typical girl-next-door, with her long blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, and that’s exactly what she wants people to see. When Huntley and Grayson meet, a force so strong pulls them together in a hurricane of feelings neither of them could have ever anticipated. Huntley and Grayson try to stay away from each other, but when Huntley’s demons seek her out, their pasts become the biggest storm of all.
Will they learn to trust each other and build a new future together or will they simply do nothing to prevent history from repeating itself?

REVIEW.....

First of all let me just say that I LOVE this title!! It has such a beautiful meaning to it. Going into this book, I knew instantly I was going to fall for Grayson. Mr. Popular "player" to the world, but such a good guy with a heart of gold on the inside.

This is a story of love at first sight.....
Huntley and Grayson meet when Huntley moves to live with her aunt and uncle after losing both of her parents. Needless to say Grayson is instantly smitten with Huntley.
But after everything Huntley has been through she is not so easily convinced and the two try to stay away from one another.
Both have secrets they hide deep inside. And both are afraid once those secrets are revealed that the other will run.
But what ensues, is a sweet drama filled love story of two broken people.
There is so much more to this story but I don't want to give too much away! Oh ok, what the heck, maybe just a little more! ;)
Once Huntley's past catches up with her is when the real drama starts. I kept thinking to myself...how much more can this poor girl take?!

Then there was the story of their best friends Demi and Brody. Oooo lala!! Talk about more angsty loving drama! I will be honest and say, that I loved their story as much as I did Huntley and Grayson's.
And the ending....oh the ending!!!
Let me just put a WARNING TO READER in here. If.....you hate to ugly cry at happy endings. Do not read the end! Because it is one BIG, happy, crying ugly tears kind of ending! It was GREAT!!
And THAT is why Beneath Your Beautiful by Tamsyn Bester gets 5 "Crazie" good stars from this reviewer! <3

KIM'S REVIEW ~INDESTRUCTIBLE DESIRE by Danielle Jamie

After going through a terrifying ordeal, Savannah has to try and overcome the tragic events that rocked her soul to the very core. With Kayden by her side, Savannah tries to piece her life back together. Feeling betrayed, she finds herself struggling to move on with her now fragile life.

Plagued with nightmares and the fear that she will once again find herself staring in to the face of danger, Savannah shuts herself away from the outside world. In the process, pushing away the man she loves and her closest friends. Two unlikely people will come together and prey on Savannah's weaknesses. Their sole purpose is to break up Savannah and Kayden, whose relationship is on shaky ground.

Savannah will experience a new life where past secrets will be exposed, exes will cause trouble and lovers from the past will offer comfort. Will Savannah and Kayden be torn apart for good? Or will their infinite love for one another be strong enough to withstand any storm that comes their way?

Okay, where in the world do I start with this review?  I will start with saying that I absolutely LOVE this entire series.  The first two books were FANTASTIC...and Danielle Jamie nailed it again with the 3rd.

This book takes us through the emotions and aftermath of the 2nd book, Inescapable Desire.  Savannah and Kayden struggle with what happen to them & Kayden has a hard time dealing with not being able to protect Savannah. He blames himself for not checking into Zak and Jacob's backgrounds so he feels responsible for thier actions. Kayden also has past demons he has burried within himself that he needs to deal with so he and Savannah can move on with their lives. & Savannah has to overcome the tragic ordeal that she encountered in order to move on as well.  They both seek counseling together which is a good and not so good...

I love that Danielle Jamie gave us Kayden's POV.  It was so nice getting to know Kayden on a deeper level.. I was drawn to him from the very first book.  He has this charisma and charm that is felt immediately.  When he speaks....oh man....it melts me.  I don't know what it is about this character...he is just complete PERFECTION in my book... I love how much he loves Savannah.   I love how much she loves Kayden.

Kayden and Savannah work together to get through this emotional rough patch they are dealing with.  The past will come back and haunt them but their love will prevail and be stronger for it.  I love the chemistry these two share... it's UNDENIABLE.  & OMG...The sex...WOAH...is HOTT HOTT HOTT!!!  DID I SAY HOTT??  Kayden Knox will melt your heart, & he will leave you wanting MORE.  Danielle Jamie will leave you wanting more..Dang her..she left me hanging..I need the 4th book...like yesterday!!! I CAN NOT WAIT  for more of Kayden & Savannah.

I'm so glad there is a 4th book to this series.  I can't get enough of sexy cowboy Kayden Knox. NOPE...CAN'T GET ENOUGH <3.

"I need your love just as much if not more than I need air to breathe.  You're my soulmate, my other half, the missing piece to my crazy puzzle."~Kayden

I give this book 5 CRAZIE STARS!!! ~KIM

For there is nothing more sacred than… A Love Like This…

REVIEW.....

Okay, this is a really hard review to write for me because I'm so in love with this series. I fell in LOVE with Ryan and Julia from the get go. Ryan stole my heart and he NEVER gave it back. I loved him in The Future of Our Past, I really loved him in Don't Forget To Remember Me & I'm over the moon in love with him in A Love Like This. Kahlen Aymes set the bar high when she started this series and she NEVER fell short.

The conclusion of their love story was right on. I was so blown away by the first two books that I wasn't sure if the last one would meet my expectations...but boy was I wrong. Kahlen Aymes reeled me in and she reeled me in good...but she kept throwing me back out. Then she would reel me in again. I was on such a roller coaster ride that I felt like I was going to throw up at times. I was so scared of how this wonderful love story would end and I was frightened that lines may be crossed and that forgiveness would not be possible.

There were times that I wanted to throw my kindle and I wanted to jump right in and shake some sense in to these characters. I wanted to scream and say ARE YOU CRAZY?? OPEN YOUR DAMN EYES. The ANGST was gut-wrenching but the LOVE was BREATHTAKING.

I wanted every day of forever to spend in his arms, secure in the knowledge that he loved me in ways I couldn’t comprehend and I loved him more than I could ever put into words. The love between us was too much and yet…not enough. If we died drowning in each other’s arms, it would never be enough.’ - Julia

A Love Like This starts about a month later where book two ended. So, get ready people for the ride of your life. Kahlen Aymes DID NOT DISAPPOINT! There is LOVE...OH YES...THE LOVE...There is ANGST...DANG IT...but I needed it...I CRAVED IT...& the PASSION was HOTT!! SIZZLING HOTT!!

Ryan and Julia are very much in love. They have overcome so many obstacles in their relationship and life keeps throwing curve balls at them. I keep thinking... Please, just GIVE THEM A BREAK...But, each obstacle they faced just drew them closer together and their love for one another continued to grow and grow.

Ryan is faced with a dangerous situation at his work where he must make a quick decision on whether he is going to do what he has always done or is he going to give in and give up what he believes in. He makes the decision to continue doing what he believes in and this decision has some consequences that he realizes almost a little too late. Ryan and his co-worker, Jane, are put in a dangerous situation where Ryan gets injured but Jane gets critically injured with life altering changes.

Ryan and Jane become close because of the devastating experience they encountered together. Jane tries to get a little too close to Ryan and this causes a wedge between Ryan & Julia's relationship. Julia catches on to Jane and she doesn't trust her even though she gives her the benefit of the doubt in the beginning. Julia knows that Ryan feels obligated to Jane because Jane saved Ryan's life when she stepped in front of him to protect him from his attacker. She knows that Ryan will stand by Jane because that is the kind of MAN Ryan is. Ryan is struggling with what happened to him while he is trying to maneuver his job, married life and his guilt for what the incident took from Jane.

As hard as it is for Julia to sit and watch another woman try and take her place in Ryan's heart, she tries to make it work and put it out of her mind. The only problem is Jane will NOT go away. She shows up at the worst times and Ryan seems to fall for it every time until Julia has had enough.

Can these two survive another obstacle thrown at them? Can Julia just sit back and watch another woman try and take her place in Ryan's heart? Will Ryan fight for the love of his life? Will these two have a HEA?

I can answer this for you but I'm not going to. You need to read this book or this series if you have not. I can not express with words what this series has done for me. Ryan and Julia have touched my heart in a way that other book couples have NOT! I have my fav book boyfriends and couples but RYAN & JULIA together..there is NOT another couple that outshines these two. They have this special chemistry that explodes from your e-reader or the paperback book you hold in your hand. It is like no other. THIS SERIES IS A MUST READ. You will fall in love with RYAN & JULIA just like I have and you will always remember what a special bond and love they share. I must say that I am truly sad that the journey with Ryan and Julia is now over. I'm hoping that maybe a Novella is in the near future for these two. I would love to see what the future holds for them.

"There never was, nor will there ever be…a love like this.” -Ryan

I give this entire series 5 CRAZIE STARS ~KIM

KIM'S REVIEW~TO MY HERO by Danielle Sibarium

It would’ve been different if I had courage, even an ounce of it. But I was a coward from the day I met you, Ryan Crowley. I still am. In the end it doesn’t matter. The bottom line is the same. It’s my fault.

When the unthinkable happens Carly Cavanough is left beaten, betrayed, and devastated. Her best friend doesn’t understand. Her parents won’t listen. Everyone in her life turns against her. She’s alone. Completely alone, except for Ryan Crowley, the boy she’s been crushing on for years. She won’t admit to him what she can’t admit to herself. But he understands without words. He knows more about what she’s going through than she can possibly imagine and he knows what it will take to start the healing.

With Ryan’s help Carly begins to piece together the fragments of her once perfect life and embarks on a journey of love and healing, just long enough for the rug to be pulled out from under her again. Can she find the strength and will to pull herself together to save Ryan and herself when their lives are on the line?

WOW!!! I was NOT sure in the beginning when I started reading this book if I would make it through it or not, due to the fact, that she was telling her story in 1st & 2nd person. It was distracting in the beginning but I figured out eventually why she told the story the way she did!! KUDOS to you, Danielle!!

Carly Cavanough & Ryan Crowley are two seniors in high school with only a couple of weeks left before graduating. These two have been close friends for awhile & care deeply for one another, BUT neither one knows how the other one feels. One New Years Eve, Carly & Ryan were supposed to spend it together...like on a date, but because her dad started putting his work before his famiy, Carley had to spend it with a client of her dads. Their son Will becomes infatuiated with Carley & gives her a KISS at midnight. Carly wanted it to be Ryan that had kissed her.

One night while at a party at her NOW boyfriends house, Carly comes face to face with Ryan. Carly & Ryan hadn't spoken in months & they try & talk about what happened that got them to this place they are at now...then HE walks up and interrupts them. Will is NOT happy to see Carly talking to Ryan so he ends their conversation by basically telling him to TAKE A HIKE. Ryan doesn't blink an eye & he will move when he dang well pleases. Carly is NOT happy with Will. Ryan kisses Carley on the cheek & then leaves.

Carly decides that she needs to be alone & get away from the craziness!!! But, little did she know that her life is about to change.... & boy does it ever change!!! I hate what happened to Carly & I hate how her parents turned their backs on her as well as her best friend. Ryan NEVER left her side. He alone & with some help from Carly, herself, brings some life back in to her.

Carly feels abandoned by her parents. They have completely turned on her & she wishes that things would go back to the way they use to be. Her dad blames her for their hardships because she was NOT doing her part. He wanted her with Will ( Scumbag) whose father owned a chain of clothing stores. Will's father was a prominent client of Carly's dad He HAD to cater to them...& he DEFINITELY did!!!!

Carly's parents eyes were finally fully opened to what had been going on right in front of them!! It took a tragedy for them to see it! Carly has a lot of healing to do to overcome her ordeal. She is a strong young lady who has a wonderful guy who loves her unconditionally!! Those two will face many more obstacles...Im sure but i feel they will overcome anything & everything thrown at them. I don't want to give too much away about this book because it is a hard one to review. Not because it's not good...because it is.. It's just a hard one to review. Once you read it, you're gonna love it ;)

CAMI'S REVIEW~BULLY by Penelope Douglas

My name is Tate. He doesn't call me that, though. He would never refer to me so informally, if he referred to me at all. No, he'll barely even speak to me.

But he still won't leave me alone.

We were best friends once. Then he turned on me and made it his mission to ruin my life. I've been humiliated, shut out, and gossiped about all through high school. His pranks and rumors got more sadistic as time wore on, and I made myself sick trying to stay out of his way. I even went to France for a year, just to avoid him.

But I'm done hiding from him now, and there's no way in hell I'll allow him to ruin my senior year. He might not have changed, but I have. It's time to fight back.

WOWZA!!!!! 5 "Crazie" Stars!!

With so many great NA books out there right now, I have to say that this is one of the absolute BEST!!!!!!!!

Jared and Tatum were best friends all through childhood, until one summer Jared goes away to visit his dad. The boy that comes back, is not the same best friend that Tatum has grown to love. This Jared is cruel and makes it his mission to embarrass her and she has no idea why.

With her father working overseas and her mother gone from cancer
"Tate" decides to go study in France for a year; something her mother would have wanted her to do. But when she returns for her senior year of high school she quickly finds out some things are still the same, yet she is still determined to avoid and ignore Jared for the rest of the school year.
(Oh, did I forget to mention that Jared is her next door neighbor? Yep, kinda hard to avoid the neighbor finding out you're back!)

But a year in France has changed Tate. When her best, and only friend K.C. suggests its time she fights back, she decides to take the suggestion. And what better time than when her "neighbor" decides to throw a party.
Between Jared and Madoc (Jared's best friend and fellow tormentor), they give...she takes...and now Tate is DONE putting up with their crap and starts to fight back! But as much as she hates Jared, there is still a pull to him she can't explain.

Once Tate starts sticking up for herself, the dynamics between the two start to change. Not of course with out a little more drama. Jared starts to try and get close with K.C.,
which of course is to piss Tate off.
Once secrets are revealed, can Tate find a way to forgive her "bully"? Or will she become one herself?

I know some people may have a problem with how Jared bullies Tate, but deep down you know there are underlying issues that need to be addressed. I absolutely LOVED that when Tate came back from France she finally found a backbone and turned into a total badass heroine! The electricity between these two "zinged" off the pages!!! I have to say, that I fell for Jared from the beginning. Even through his pranks, you could feel the undercurrent of his true feelings for Tate.

Although, I did feel at times Tate was a little too forgiving. Like with her bestie K.C.....
Had that been my BFF that started hanging with my tormentor, I would not have been so quick to forgive. Just like the "bro-code", there is also a "girl-code". DO NOT hang with thy enemy!! But of course it just added to the story! ;)

I am an angst lover....bring it on....the more the merrier!! And man oh man, did this book deliver!!! I was completely sucked into this story from the very first page! This is one book that I will be reading over and over. An absolute re-read and a DEFINITE 5 "Crazie" stars kind of book!!!!
