KIM'S REVIEW~BLEEDING LOVE by Harper Sloan

Wow!! Refreshing, exhilarating and highly addictive...Yes, that's what Harper Sloan's books are.

Bleeding Love is the second installment in the Hope Town Series and a spin-off from the Corps Security Series. I'm feeling another great series coming our way!!

Liam Beckett is mature, understanding, inviting, sensual, tactile and sexy as hell, but how could he not be, he's Dee and Beck's son from the Corps Security Series...Swoon!! He is the reason to read this book.  He is the epitome of what every man should be.  He is perfect, but he's so much more!!

Megan is a widowed, single mom, who also happens to be an author. Her world was turned upside down when she lost the man she has loved for as long as she can remember. Jack died while serving in the military. Her daughter, Molly, is her world, and her life these days only consists of raising her daughter and trying to make ends meet.

Ah!! Molly will steal your heart from the very first introduction.  Everyone who comes into contact with this sweet little girl her falls head over heels in love with her, including Liam, Axel, Izzy, Dani, Cohen, Nate, Beck and Dee. I loved seeing these characters interact with Molly, especially Axel. :)

“A love worth having, is worth fighting for.”

Megan has loved, and she has lost love, leaving her emotionally dead. Due to the fear of losing love again, she keeps herself guarded not allowing anyone close enough to break through her armor. Until Liam starts dwindling away her protective covering piece by piece.

“You just have to take my hand and let me take care of your heart.”

Will Megan open up her heart and let her guard down?  Will she be open to the chance to love again?

My hold never wavers as I make true to my promise and take every single pain filled tear, every ghost of her past that comes shaking from the force of her cries, and I pull that pain deep inside and lock it tight so that it can never hurt her again.”

Bleeding Love is a beautiful compelling story. It's a story about trust and finding the strength to overcome the fear of loving again. Overall, I loved this book. The supporting characters were fantastic. I loved the humor and support they brought to the story.  I definitely recommend reading this book...this series.

I give Bleeding Love 4 Crazie Stars!! ~Kim
